Hikers love Tegernsee for its variety. The Tegernsee mountains offer more than 300 kilometres of marked trails for all ages and abilities. Gentle walkers can start with a slower-paced tour and stop off to savour culinary highlights along the way. If you’d like a spectacular view of the entire lake, then choose one of our alpine hikes. The Tegernsee mountains – Wallberg, Hirschberg and Riederstein – are calling! Children love our exciting hikes designed especially for them, including the “golden eagle trail”, where they become real nature detectives. At the other end of the scale, if you’re a climber or alpinist who relishes a challenge, we have plenty of steep slopes for you to tackle.
